ScaleMP vSMP Foundation™ Standalone
vSMP Foundation Standalone enables the creation of 4-socket x86 shared memory systems by aggregating processors, memory and I/O capabilities of two independent 2-socket systems, by interconnecting them via Infiniband. The resulting 4-socket system offers tremendous price and performance advantages for the High Performance Computing (HPC) market. vSMP Foundation Standalone is tuned for Intel® Xeon® (dual- and quad-core) processors and available for select Colfax server platforms. The resulting 4-socket systems offer 16 processing cores and up to 128GB of shared memory.
