Colfax International invites you to apply for a full-time position of a systems
software developer in Santa Clara, California. In this position, you will be contributing
to projects related to cloud computing, educational programs, and e-commerce. Here
are examples of tasks that you may find yourself working on:
- Assist in the planning of networking, communication protocols, and computing infrastructure.
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure as code.
- Develop APIs, automation, health monitoring, configuration management, and other
software in a bare-metal cloud.
- Audit the security of configurations, protocols and software in the cloud.
You
- Are either an expert systems software engineer or a cross-functional problem solver
competent in Linux automation. See our other positions to understand how you may

- Have experience with a selection of tools, such as programming languages and frameworks,
to approach cloud programming problem in an efficient way. Tell us what your tools

- Like to see the big picture, analyze and propose solutions that impact not only

us, our software, our customers and other stakeholders.

to run a bare-metal cloud. Here are examples of tasks that you may find yourself
working on:
- Deploy cloud provisioning automation software on-premises and remotely.
- Monitor hardware and software service health.
- Coordinate repairs.
- Update systems firmware.
- Respond to issue alerts.
- Provide feedback to developers.
- Assess customer feedback.
- Audit the security of configurations, protocols and software in the cloud.
You
- Are either an expert systems administrator, or a cross-functional problem solver

- Have experience with large-scale deployments of Linux systems.
